What independent reviewers found
Sleep Foundation(Oct 2026): Testers found it suited side sleepers best, with good cushioning at hips, shoulders and lower back; back and stomach sleepers over 230 lb often found it too soft. Reinforced edge coils sank a little, some motion still came through, and it slept warm-neutral rather than cool. RTINGS(Sep 2025): Lab-tested queen felt medium-plush: fine for light to average side sleepers and lighter back or stomach sleepers, but the soft coils gave limited support for heavier people. Very firm edges, quick bounce-back and good cooling, though it can feel warm early in the night; RTINGS expects the low-density top foams to sag or form impressions sooner. RTINGS bought the queen; results apply to that size. RTINGS also tested the discontinued 2021–24 DreamCloud Hybrid separately.Read it ↗
Mattress Clarity(Oct 2026): Testers found it firmer than typical, with a lying-on-top feel: back sleepers did best, while average-weight side sleepers felt hip and shoulder pressure and stomach sleeping was uncomfortable for average and heavier testers. Strong edges, some bounce-related motion transfer, surface warmed to about neutral, and no chemical smell at unboxing. Site receives free products and earns affiliate commissions. NapLab(May 2026): Rated medium-firm, 6/10, and listed for all positions up to 300 lb. Low motion transfer, strong sitting edge with reinforced coils, cooling good but warmer than NapLab's average, and pressure relief only about average given the 3.5-inch comfort layer. Tested the 2025 redesign; NapLab calls the 2021 Classic discontinued. No durability testing. NapLab discloses it may earn a commission from links.Read it ↗
Their testing, in our words. We haven’t tested these mattresses ourselves, and we don’t repeat their scores.
