GOOD FIT COMES FIRST
A room that changes.
A bed that fits.
The right mattress for a Murphy bed starts with the wall-bed maker’s specifications, including weight as well as dimensions.

Size and thickness
Record the required width, length and maximum thickness from the furniture manual. Include any bedding the manufacturer allows when the bed is closed.
Weight and movement
Confirm the specified mattress weight range and lifting-system requirements. We do not label a mattress Murphy-compatible merely because it is thin or made from foam.
Support and storage position
Check both companies’ guidance: the bed maker’s platform requirements and the mattress maker’s support and storage instructions. Ask how the mattress is retained while the bed is upright.
Before choosing a model
Send the bed model, required dimensions, weight limits and intended mattress to the manufacturers for confirmation. Then compare materials and return terms within those constraints.
