Questions
What size is an RV queen mattress?
Most RV queens are “short queens”: 60″ wide and either 75″ or 74″ long, shorter than a home queen (60 × 80). Some RVs do take a full 60 × 80 queen. Measure your platform.
What size is an RV king?
Usually 72 × 80 (narrower than a home king, which is 76 × 80). Some RVs use a 72 × 75 “short king”.
How thick should an RV mattress be?
Check the clearance above the bed: slide-outs, cabinets and bunks can limit height. Many RV owners choose 8″–10″. See the low-profile list for 8″ and under.
Can I use regular sheets on an RV mattress?
Not on short sizes: a queen sheet (60 × 80) is 5–6″ too long for a 60 × 74 or 60 × 75 mattress. Buy sheets made for your exact size.
