What independent reviewers found
- Sleep Foundation (Jun 2026): Three testers slept on it at home for a week, plus lab tests. It cradled deeply and absorbed a partner's movement very well, and temperature was about average; the foam edges compressed noticeably, and it suited lighter side sleepers best while heavier back and stomach sleepers sank too far. Tested the 14″ all-foam Black; the review describes a medium feel and doesn't say which of the three firmness options it was. Affiliate links on the page. Read it ↗
- NapLab (May 2026): Medium tested at 6/10; classic slow memory-foam feel with low bounce. Motion transfer 27% below average and decent sitting edges, but notable heat retention, slow response and limited bounce. A budget pick under $500 for a queen. Reviewed as the 14-inch EGO Black, "Foam Medium" option. Affiliate links. Read it ↗
- NapLab (May 2026): Firm option measured 7/10; best for back and stomach sleepers under 250 lbs. Low motion transfer and good sitting edges, but below-average cooling, response and pressure relief, with only 2 inches of comfort foam. Firm option of the 14-inch EGO Black. Affiliate links. Read it ↗
