What independent reviewers found
- Sleep Foundation (Jul 2026): Lab testers tried all three feels: the Plush hugs deeply and sleeps warmest, the Firm runs coolest and suits most back and stomach sleepers, and motion isolation was strong across the board. Edges were average on the Firm and weak on the Plush and Medium; Plush and Medium suited side sleepers up to about 230 lbs, the Firm those above. Tested the iComfort Standard in Plush, Medium and Firm; size not stated; affiliate commissions disclosed on page. Read it ↗
- GoodBed: Elana Firm option rated firm with slightly below-average memory feel; you sleep on top rather than in it. Best for stomach and back sleepers and edge-sitters (very good edges). Not ideal for side sleepers, especially lighter ones, very hot sleepers or bounce lovers. Elana Firm option (the one our prices use). GoodBed rates firmness on its own 1 (firmest) to 9 (softest) scale; GoodBed earns cash-back/affiliate revenue from links. Read it ↗
