What independent reviewers found

NapLab (Jul 2026): Overall 8.79 with strong cooling (9.0) and pressure relief (9.0), low motion transfer and quick off-gassing. Tested build had deep sinkage and very low bounce; NapLab expects firmer versions to sink less. Tested the Plush Pillow Top; NapLab lists Extra Firm as another PressureSmart option, so expect a much firmer feel. Affiliate links. Read it ↗
Sleep Foundation (Oct 2026): Medium-firm base model eased pressure well for side sleepers over 130 lb with a lumbar memory-foam band; stomach sleepers over 230 lb sank too much. Says the Extra Firm Pillow Top shares a similar design and feel family. Tested the standard PressureSmart, not the Extra Firm Pillow Top. Affiliate links. Read it ↗
