Short queen mattresses without fiberglass
Updated Oct 26, 2026 · 3 makers’ own size lists checked · findings from 1 independent testing site · How we pick
Every fiberglass-free mattress we could find that’s sold in exactly 60 × 75 inches, the Short queen size. Some cheaper mattresses use a fiberglass sock as a fire barrier, and if the cover is opened or tears, the glass fibers can spread through a room.
How we check: each size is checked against the maker’s own size list. Mattresses whose maker states they use no fiberglass (some fire barriers do). Makers that don’t mention it aren’t listed, so this isn’t every fiberglass-free mattress.
